Our Return and Refund Policy

At ROYCE STAR FURNITURE, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully.

 

Returns

  • Eligibility: Most items can be returned within [Number, e.g., 7, 14, or 30] days of the original delivery or collection date.

  • Condition of Items: To be eligible for a return, items must be in new, unused, and resalable condition, with all original packaging, tags, and accessories intact. Items that have been assembled, modified, damaged after delivery, or are not in their original condition will not be accepted for return.

  • Non-Returnable Items: For hygiene reasons and other considerations, the following items are generally non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective:

    • Mattresses (unless covered by a specific comfort guarantee, see below)

    • Bedding (e.g., pillows, comforters, sheets) once opened

    • Custom-made or special-order items

    • Clearance or final sale items (clearly marked as such)

  • Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase (e.g., original sales receipt, order confirmation, delivery note) is required for all returns.

Return Process

  1. Initiate a Return: To initiate a return, please contact us via Email through sales@roycestarfurniture.com within the eligible return period. Please provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

  2. Return Options: We will advise you on the appropriate return method, which may include:

  3. In-Store Return: You may be able to return the item(s) to our physical store location at Dominion Line, Electronic Market Opposite Premier Brewery, Along Onitsha-Asaba Expressway during our business hours Tuesday-Saturday (7am-4pm). Please bring your proof of purchase.

  4. Scheduled Pick-Up: For larger items, we may arrange a pick-up from your delivery address. A pick-up fee [Specify if applicable, e.g., may apply] will be communicated to you at the time of scheduling.

  5. Customer Shipping: For smaller items, we may request that you ship the item(s) back to us at Dominion Line, Electronic Market Opposite Premier Brewery, Along Onitsha-Asaba Expressway using a trackable shipping method. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., damaged or incorrect item).  

  6. Inspection: Once we receive the returned item(s), our team will inspect them to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria outlined above.

  7. Return Confirmation: We will notify you of the status of your return after inspection.

Refunds/Replacement

  1. Eligibility: If your return is approved, you will be eligible for a refund/replacement.

  2. Refund Method: Refunds will be issued using the original payment method used for the purchase.

  3. Refund Processing Time: Please allow [Number, e.g., 7-10] business days from the date we receive the returned item(s) for your refund to be processed and reflected in your account. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.  

  4. Deductions: Original delivery fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., damaged or incorrect item). Return shipping fees (if applicable) may also be deducted from your refund.

Damaged or Defective Items

  1. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately upon receipt (within [Number, e.g., 48 hours]). Please provide photos of the damage or defect along with your order number.  

  2. We will assess the issue and offer a suitable resolution, which may include a replacement, repair, or a full refund (including original delivery fees).

  5. We reserve the right to refuse a return or refund if the conditions outlined in this policy are not met.
